What is HORMUZ?
An ERC-20 culture token on Base associated with internet-native satire, original alien characters and public-record commentary.
Can more tokens be minted?
One billion were minted at deployment. The contract has no further minting function. Holder burns can reduce the current total supply.
Why is circulating supply smaller than total supply?
Project-reported: totalSupply minus treasury and deployer balances, all at the same Base block. Includes liquidity-pool tokens and the separately disclosed operations-wallet balance. This is not an independently audited measure of public free float; aggregators can apply different exclusions. Moving tokens between controlled wallets does not by itself establish circulation.
Does a self-hosted token list add HORMUZ to every wallet?
No. Wallets choose their own data providers, allowlists and spam filters. Importing by address is different from a searchable, priced directory listing.
Is HORMUZ listed on CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap?
No reviewed listing is independently confirmed. Automatic DEX coverage, submitted forms and reviewed asset pages are separate states; see the dated token record.
Why is DEX Screener missing the pair?
Its public pair, token and contract-search APIs returned no matching pair on September 5, 2026. The pool and both read-only swap quotes work on-chain. The provider has not explained the missing coverage. No artificial transactions were made to trigger indexing.
Where are the official social accounts?
The verified project link is X @hormuzians. Other handles are not official merely because they use the HORMUZ name.
Does HORMUZ promise financial returns?
