Scams and impersonation

Users should assume impersonation attempts may appear around any token launch or public record update.

Sanctions screening (G0-A)

Verified, not trusted

We screened our own name against the OFAC, UN, UK, and EU sanctions lists, and published what we found instead of burying it.

The name “HORMUZ” collides with Iran-context vessel and entity entries on the OFAC SDN list. We documented that openly (findings F1–F14), ran interactive address checks (contract, treasury, deployer all returned zero matches), and had external U.S. crypto counsel adjudicate the whole record.
